Animal Farm

Just watched animal farm by Wild Rice.. a production firm in singapore..

something different from the international productions.. something that they really make an effort to link with the current local context and the audience..

a different protrayal of the original animal farm but nonetheless a very successful play in itself..

i highly recommend it =)

specially like clover the horse's performance.. not sure if she was touched by the scene or she was just relieved that the performance is going to be over or she was reliving her own experience.. but at the end when she succumbed to the lump of sugar offered by the human.. she cried.. such a touching scene and really brings the point of the play across..
(if not for the secondary sch kid making the clicking noise.. i would have felt more at the moment.. )

i wonder wat other productions can we go for..
