went on a weekend trip to belgium.. with an impromtu trip to amsterdam.. perhaps xinli is right, everything happens for a reason u may not know it now but u will later. perhaps tat's why we couldn't book our seats to brussels and ended up with an hour of waiting time during which we decided on the spot to go amsterdam and check in later at 11pm?
but nonetheless it's a very interesting experience. the red light district is so blatant tat i'm shocked!! perhaps i'm too protected in safe singapore and innocent germany... the gals are dressed only in underwear and display themselves provocatively in a small room with large windows like goods.. and i sincerely think tat the street in the middle of this district has better 'goods' than the one at the outskirts even though there are more female tourists and it feels not so scary...
and the best thing is they sell cannibis and opium incense and watever else like it's just strawberry chewing gum.. it's tat blatant! gosh..
bought clover plant to grow.. hope my 'green' fingers will make it grow.. haa.. will let u know if i find a four leave one.. haa..
xinli and i bought the same cow slipper clogs... hope my mum will not find it too big.. haa.. cos i think i bought too big a size.. oops.. perhaps will throw it else where then.. haa.. after i'm done wearing it in my room!! :p and onwards to belgium!!brussels & brugges!! the things tat represent these places are fries and waffles!! and sorry cindy.. i forgot where is it tat u said we must go.. oops.. hope we coveed it nonetheless.. had our fair share of both.. and the amt of sauces there is amazinG!! only managed to try 3 though.. cocktail (in ams), spicy garlic and american.. cocktail is nice, the rest are interesting... haa.. and it's only available in shops with take aways.. so do NOT want to try the fries in restaurants.. it's plain.. haa.. and they love to eat mussels with fries.. dunno why but it's typical there also..

this trip just strengthens my desire to learn french! onward to french!! haa.. tat reminds me.. better check out the timings.. haaa..
