just read the Da Vinci Code. It's an ultra GOOD book... for those who have been doubting the teachings of the Catholic Church and are looking for another explanation DO read the book. It exposes the Catholic Church as a lying underhanded religion whose sole purpose of creation seems to be for an old Roman King to stabilise his empire and to empower him with power and wealth...

Here is wat the book has said. Fyi the architecture, art, secret societies and secret rituals mentioned in the book are real. Things like Holy Grail, Mona Lisa and Last Supper, Pagan are just some examples of the stuff mentioned in the book.
For those who have seen a Leonardo Da Vinci's exhibition would have kknown that he once belonged to a secret society. This society is known as the Priory Sion. It swears to guard the bloodline of Jesus and the truth about the Holy Grail. Yes. Jesus is a mere mortal whose teachings are so widely accepted many took it as a religion. This was the very beginning of Christainity. However the Roman King got frightened by the size and power of the followers of the new religion that he even set up a commitee to modify the very basic idea of this new religion thus giving birth to the present day Catholic Church. He was the one who gave Jesus His divinity and the present day practices of the Church. Sunday being the rest day is one practice the King decided for the Church instead of the original Saturday for the Sabbath day? Anway why sunday? bec the King's original religion being Pagan celebrates Sunday as their Rest day. why i can't remember. Anyway the King wasn't baptised until his deathbed where he was too weak to protest.
Pagan is a faith that worships nature and Goddess. So women you were actually being worshipped by men in ancient times! however now the Church has condemned women. Holy Grail (according to Dan Brown) is actually a woman. A sweetheart of jesus! And she is drawn by Da Vinci in his last supper sitting on the right of Jesus. She was actually carrying the child of Jesus when He was cruxified. And see! the beginning of Church has a bloody beginning... Anyway... the bloodline of Jesus hopefully still survives till today... Anyway the wife of Jesus is named Mary Magdalene and is written in the bible as a whore!
why is 13 so unlucky? it has nothing to do with witches or anyhting.. it has everything to do with the quests for the Holy Grail. Knights were sent to search for the HOly Grail in order to protect it. However the Pope fearing them actually gave orders to kill these Knights. As you guessed it the killing took plave on Friday the 13th. so those supersitious pple out there... it has nothing absolutely nothing to do with luck and if you should happen to be a Templar Knight a few hundred years ago then it's ultra unlucky for you on 13th friday! why? Cos you are WANTED by the POPE!
i still will never understand why God is generous and kind enuff to send his son to cleanse us of our sins but selfish enuff to save and accept only a few into His Heaven! Is Heaven then so crowded?! what about the Catholic Priests who are pheodeophiles?! are they then granted a place in heaven?! so many whys.. i'm not saying that the book should be absolutely trusted and accepted as the whole gospel truth but it's nontheless interesting and provides an alternative explanation to the bible. And personally it's more acceptable to me than the bible... Sorry my christian friends...
